latest

A couple of weeks ago my girls kidnapped me for a date night. We went to B&N and out to dinner. It was lovely. They bought me a book that night, a book of my choice. I selected Neil Gaiman's "The Ocean at the End of the Lane."  Although the novel clocks in at under 200 pages, it has taken me a while to read. I found myself savoring each page.

It is beautiful and scary and haunting. It deserves to be called one of the best reads of the year.

Off into Wednesday I go. Not sure if my boss will be in today or not as they all come back from their convention.
