When I left work it was 35...brrr. The temps dropped all day. Schools are closed tomorrow in anticipation of the ice storm. States of emergency declared for us and our neighboring state. Ugh.
We're currently in a terrible temperature inversion with a thick layer of smog settled right down on the ground in some places. The air looks like you could cut it. So gross. And temperature inversions keep the bottom air very cold, so the warmest we've been in about 10 days is 35-ish. However, a storms should be coming in in a couple of days, and that will break it up.

Monday afternoon in Salt Lake City it was 62 degrees.
Tuesday afternoon it was 24 degrees.
Wednesday afternoon it was 9 degrees.
